June
--Thoughts of Having the Honor to Read
Collection of Poems by Wanran
☆ Poem & Translation by Luo Zhihai
Along the line of magpie's sight
Climb up white rose's window lattices
Once in a while, my soul can listen to a sigh
From hill wind passing by
At first
Colorful secondary rainbow
In half-light
Without prior consultation
Wine's sweet scent and skirt's belts agree
Tender leaf's dream is spied
Making a sudden all-out effort
Beauty's gonna jump immediately at any time
Hill stream lacking water
Meets fairy tales
By chance with
Mild undertaking this time
Notes run quickly and leap all the way
No sound and no smell, no laugh and no cry
Not being in the mood for probing
The mysteries of the Bay of Honghai
I try my best with reverence and awe
For the dust raised by midnight
June brushes past me
Says good-bye to me
Says good-bye to me
In the good-bye
There is some sweet grief
